Tim Crook is a professional writer/journalist, dramatist, director and academic at Goldsmiths College, University of London . Undergraduate and Postgraduate education in the Humanities, Literature, Media Studies, Law, History and Performance Studies at the Open, London and Roehampton Universities . He is the author of Radio Drama and International Radio Journalism , published by Routledge and other books on scriptwriting, censorship, media law, ethics, and history.
Tim continues to produce plays and documentaries for BBC radio and works as a consultant on film and television projects. He has been the recipient of many professional awards for drama, journalism and production. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and archivist for the International Radio Festival of New York. |
Charles Potter has been producing and directing radio drama and documentary programs in New York City since 1967. He adapted and directed dozens of Louis L'Amour and Star Wars stories for CD and, more recently, a trilogy of classic science fiction stories for the Sci-Fi Channel's audio website Seeing Ear Theatre . He has worked at WBAI, WNYC, WGBH, WUNC and NPR, and is currently chairman of the board of the the National Audio Theatre Festivals.
Charles is currently Adjunct Professor of Film and Television at New York University . He has taught sound and audio drama production at universities and in workshops in the US, Europe and Africa . He has won numerous industry awards including several CPB Awards, Audie Awards, and awards from the Houston and Chicago Film Festivals. He has produced three Grammy Award winning recordings in the Spoken Word category. |
Richard Shannon read English at New College, Oxford and studied directing at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has directed extensively both on stage and for radio. For 13 years he was co-director of Independent Radio Drama Productions and won a number of awards including two Sonys and a commendation at the Prix Italia for his production of Paul's Sirett's Vissi D'arte.
Richard has directed at the Young Vic, the Battersea Arts Centre, for Commonstock Theatre Company and the Redgrave. Currently he is Associate Director of Polka Theatre for Children with responsibility for new writing. He combines his production work with lecturing and is a Senior Lecturer in special effects at Southbank University in London . He has written a large number of plays for radio and theatre and is about to direct Preserved of God by Justin Butcher on BBC radio 4.
